TOWN OF SHARON

                        ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

                                    AUGUST 6, 2013

10:30 A.M.      Called meeting to order. Present: Paula B. Keefe, Ellen W. Abelson and Mark J. Mazur.

1. The Board read a letter from a taxpayer contesting his tax bill. The Board directed the Administrative Assessor to write him a letter explaining that it was too late to apply for an abatement for Fiscal Year 2013.

2. The Administrative Assessor explained how he was proposing to update residential values for Fiscal Year 2014 and presented numerous documents for the Board to examine. The Board examined the material and discussed the changes.

3. The Board requested certain printouts to help them analyze the changes that were made. The Board took the material home to examine in more detail.

4.  The Board discussed making Paul Keefe and Anne Carney unpaid Deputy Assessors.

5. The Board will hold their next meeting at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday August 27, 2013.
